Our Story

CrossPoint

The CrossPoint story begins in 1923. A group of Christ-followers wanted to establish a church focused on worshipping God in a passionate and authentic way that would also be a blessing to the community, especially to those who are in need. The Church of the Nazarene was founded on the notion of serving the poor, homeless, orphans, widows, and all others who find themselves in difficult itmes. That mission has burned brightly now for over 80 years.

Our prayer is that we become a diverse community of people who truly love one another and are bold enough to take the gospel across racial, social, and economic barriers, while extending our arms wide open to the greater community, looking for opportunities to live the gospel out in service and love to those in need. We envision a community of people that have a common cause: the Glory of God, and the living, embodied proclamation of His Son through His Spirit living within the community.

Wisconsin District

We are also a part of a larger community of believers (Wisconsin District) throughout the state.

International Church

The Church of the Nazarene is an international denomination reaching over 150 world areas.
