Our Why
Our "Why" for all that we do at Crosspoint comes directly from Scripture.
Why "Belong to God?"
Because Galatians 4:7 teaches us that our relationship with God is more than simply having a distant Father in the sky. We actually belong to Him as His beloved children.
"So, you are no longer a slave, but God's child; and since you are His child, God has made you also an heir." (NIV)

Why "Live in Community?"
Because Romans 12:4-5 and 1 Corinthians 12:25-26 teach us that for the church to function properly, its members must be unified and care for one another on a deep level.
Romans VS: "For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others." (NIV)
1st Corinthians VS: "So that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another. And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it."

Why "Transform Madison?"
Because Matthew 5:14-16 tells us that we are the light of the world and the salt of the earth. There are people in our city who are full of hurt and darkness, and we are called to go and share the light of Christ in the middle of such pain and sorrow.
