Ladies Events
Walk-n-Talk - Saturday, May 17th: 10am-3pm (please note the time change). We will be taking a road trip to the Wisconsin Dells Craft Mall, which has a craft mall with homemade items, a cafe', and an antique mall. There is a $5 nonrefundable fee to attend and there are only 10 seats available. If you are interested in going, see Bonnie to sign up and pay the $5.00.
We will be leaving promptly at 10am.
Kennedy School Volunteer Opportunity
Pastor Paul is volunteering at Kennedy Elementary School on Thursdays from 9-11am and would love for others to join him! Right now, he’s reading with kindergarten students and is looking for volunteers who would enjoy helping with that. Additional opportunities to serve may also be available in the future.
If you’re interested in getting involved, a background check is required. For more information or to sign up, please talk to Pastor Paul.
Softball
Believe it or not, it's that time of year again! Athletes and non-athletes alike are joining together at Demetral Park (601 N. 6th St) for fellowship and softball. If you want to play (co-ed team!), see Pastor Paul. If you'd like to spectate, we will be posting the schedule each week, or you can download it here. The first game begins on Monday, May 12th at 7:15pm.
Colorado Housewarming
If you signed up for an item for the housewarming, please bring them on this Sunday, May 4th. If you would like to sign up, there is still time! Contact Karen Mitten to see what items we still need.

Prayer Requests

Missionaries Around the World,  Our Nation and Those in Leadership, Our City and the People Who Need Jesus.
Mission Prayer Focus: Thailand
THAILAND -THAILAND is located in southeast Asia. The Church of the Nazarene has been in Thailand since 1989. Challenges they face are an aging population, a shrinking workforce, and increased immigration from neighboring countries - particularly Myanmar.
Pray for the ministry leaders who are teaching the love of Jesus to immigrants who are far from their homes.
Pray for New Creation Center children’s ministry in Bangkok - that they will have an impact on those who have fled war-torn Myanmar. This center is being used to transform lives. It provides education in various skills that will help the students in their future.
